We are soliciting for articles, pictures, news/brags, etc. for the monthly newsletter.  Remember to send all submissions to Karen VanDonsel at webmaster@nefhrc.net.  The deadline is the 15th of each month.  Credit will be given when the article is published in The Hunter’s Blind.

We can also include items for sale or items wanted to buy/swap. Announcements for litters, puppies for sale or dogs standing at stud can also be included.

The April issue of The Hunter’s Blind will be e-mailed to all current members within the next day.  In the meantime, the current issue has been posted to the Newsletter page. Just select Newsletters on the main menu at the top to access all archived issues of the newsletter.

For those who are new to the NEFHRC web site, I’d like to offer some helpful tips for using the Event Calendar.

When you first go to the Event Calendar, you are taken to the current month.  You can change to the next or previous month’s calendar by scrolling to the bottom of the calendar.  The previous month link will be on the left and the next month link will be on the right. Alternatively, at the top left of the calendar you can find “Events In”.  By clicking on the current month, you get a drop down menu with the months for the rest of the year.  Select a month and that month’s event calendar will appear.

You are not limited to a “monthly” view of the calendar.  You may view the calendar as a “day” calendar, which will first reflect events on the current day.  Scroll to the bottom of the day’s events to select the previous day or the next day. Alternatively, you can view events in a list form.  When you select this view, all events will be listed in order, by month.

To change how you view the calendar, select the view under “View As” at the top right of the calendar.  That will present you with a drop down menu from which you can choose your viewing preference.

Joining NEFHRC or renewing your membership just got easier!  As of today, NEFHRC is accepting online membership applications, with payments made via PayPal.

To access the new online membership application, look under Club Information on the main menu and select Online Membership Application.

Please submit your dog/puppy points after each event so I can post them to the site.  The easiest was to submit your points is online at http://www.nefhrc.net/club-information/submit-your-dog-points/. Use this page to submit 2015 points only.

If you forgot to submit points for 2014, you can still send in the information via e-mail to webmaster@nefhrc.net. Remember to include all relevant information – Owner name, Dog call name, Dog date of birth, total 2014 points, total cumulative points.

Memberships run from January 1 to December 31 of each year, meaning membership renewals are due on January 1st of each year. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2015, please do so.

Please complete a Membership Application found at http://nefhrc.net/documents/member-app.pdf and mail it, along with your check, to the address found on the application.

If you prefer to pay via credit card, please complete the membership application and e-mail it to either webmaster@nefhrc.net or bpsrnr@aol.com. An invoice will then be e-mailed to you that will allow you to pay your dues via PayPal.  Your membership is not considered renewed until payment has been received.

Only active members receive member e-mail notifications, announcements, and reminders!

The March 2015 issue of The Hunter’s Blind has been posted to the site.  If you’ve misplaced a copy, you can access all editions of the newsletter on the Newsletter page.  Just click on Newsletters on the top main menu.
