We will be having training day this weekend on Saturday March 23rd beginning at 8:00 at Whisper Creek. This would be a good opportunity to get your dog ready for our upcoming hunt test on April 13-14, 2013. Any one with a young dog or puppy is urged to come out & train to get ready. Also guest are welcome to come out & bring their dogs.

Hope to see every one there!

Dog Points

Please don’t forget to send your dog points to the webmaster after each Hunt Test.  We have moved the listing of Dog Points under the “Club Information” link on the main menu.

You can either e-mail your dog points to the webmaster at webmaster@nefhrc.net.  Alternatively, you can fill out the form on the Submit Your Dog Points page and hit the Submit button.  The information will be transmitted automatically to the webmaster and she will, in turn, update the Dog Points listing.

NEFHRC Spring 2013 Hunt Test Premium Revised

The NEFHRC Spring 2013 Hunt Test Premium has been revised.  Due to increased costs, it has become necessary to revise the hunt test fees.  If you have not already submitted your premium entry, you must use the revised premium and pay the revised fees.

The revised premium is available for download at http://nefhrc.net/premiums/nefhrc-spring-2013-vs.pdf.

Also, please note there is a $10 fee for entering on the day of the test.  To avoid the additional fee, please be sure to send your entries as soon as possible.  Forward the premium entry to Sherri Osborne as directed on the Premium.

If you have any questions, please contact Sherri Osborne, Hunt Secretary, at (904) 753-1155.

Let’s have a great Spring Hunt Test!!

Treasure Coast HRC Hunt Test

Cody

Treasure Coast HRC’s Hunt Test closes for Entry Express entries on March 25.  If any of you are going to support this event of our club’s, please enter as early as possible.

There are stakes for every level of dog and fun games on Saturday afternoon.

If you have a young (Junior or Started) dog, the entry fee is relatively inexpensive (as HT entry fees go) and (unlike AKC) you can run your dog in both series whether or not you pass the first one. It is a fun opportunity to have your dog experience the excitement of a HT. In Started, the handler does not have to hold a gun and may hold his/her dog by the flat buckle collar.

Here is the link to submit your entry:

Contact Us Fixed

I’ve finally gotten the Contact Us page fixed and working (I hope).

If you have any questions or encounter any problems with the web site, please use the Contact Us page to notify me.  I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

If your issue requires an response from one of the Club Officers, I will forward the inquiry directly to the applicable Officer.

Thank you again for your patience during the transition.

Contact Us

At this exact time, there is no Contact Us page.  Due to severe computer problems, I’m having trouble getting forms to work properly.

Therefore, for the time being, if you have a question or problem with the site, please e-mail me at webmaster@nefhrc.net.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you need to contact one of the officers, please see the Club Officers page under the Club Information link at the top of each page.

Welcome to NEFHRC’s New Site!

Welcome to the new site for NEFHRC.  While the basic look and feel of the site has not changed significantly, the functionality has undergone some radical changes.

First, we no longer have the club Message Board.  As previously noted, the forum was viewed quite a bit, particularly with respect to events scheduled. However, there was little to no activity within the message board itself, which lead us to believe it wasn’t accomplishing what we had hoped.

To make up for the lost Message Board, the new site has two new additions:  a full Calendar and this blog. The calendar is similar to what we had previously, but will be somewhat easier for me to update and make edits.

The blog is a real boon.  This will allow the club officers to make announcements or post reminders all in one place.  AND, the newest blog entries will be featured on the club’s main site page.  Pretty neat, huh??

Everyone will be permitted to make comments or ask questions regarding posts on the blog.  I will post instructions and “rules” (yup, gotta have them) for use of the blog.

For the next couple of days the site will be slowly going up page by page.  I appreciate your patience during this process and hope the final product will be worth it.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at webmaster@nefhrc.net.

Thank you for your patience,

Karen VanDonsel
