Good morning, all.  I know it’s been awhile since we started the moving process. However, we are still having issues with the Contact Us and Online Membership Application forms.

I am currently in the process of working with the developers of the software for the forms.  I am hopeful we can get this resolved shortly.

In order for the developers to help diagnose the problem, I’ve had to activate the Contact Us page.  So, you can access the page. However, as of right this minute, any comments/questions submitted are not processing through. Therefore, please continue to e-mail the appropriate officer with your questions/comments.

As soon as the issues are resolved, I will update the blog.

The site migration has pretty much been accomplished and almost everything is up and running.

The Contact Us and On-Line Membership Application are still disabled at this point. I’ve got some of the bugs worked out, but not all of them.

I appreciate your patience in this move and do apologize for the inconvenience it may be causing you.

For anyone who wants to renew their membership or join as a new member, if you prefer to pay via PayPal (credit card), please contact me via e-mail at webmaster@nefhrc.net. I can send a PayPal invoice to you directly via e-mail.  You will still need to provide all the information asked for on the membership application.

I will post a “fillable” Adobe membership application – one that you can fill out on your computer without printing it out.  You can download the application, fill it out, and e-mail it to me. I can then send you a PayPal invoice via e-mail for your to pay. Please note you will need to download the application in order to fill it out with your computer.

Otherwise, you will still need to download the application, fill it out and send it to John Spivey, Treasurer, along with your check.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and will try to get the forms working as quickly as possible.

I’ve discovered a couple more issues while testing the site.

Neither the Contact Us nor the On-Line Membership Application forms are working properly.  I’m working on the issues, but for now they simply won’t work. I have, therefore, disabled both forms. They will not show up on the site.

Well, it appears the migration to the new server is fairly complete. At least, I think so.  For me, the site is almost fully functional.

I say almost because I notice that for some reason the Accordion did not transfer over. So, I will have to completely redo the Newsletter page.  Please excuse the strange verbiage there now – that’s just “code speak” for me to know what needs to be done.

But, other than that, I think everything else is up and running okay.  I’ll be testing the various forms on the site to make sure they’re working.  And from what I can tell, the e-mails are now functional.

So, I think we’re good to go. I appreciate your patience with this process.

We are in the process of moving the club’s site to a new server.  This process will take a few days, but no more than 5 (I hope – it says here in fine print). During that time the site will not be accessible and when it does come back up, it may be in a bit of disarray.
